How It Works

What is the Paws & Pucks program and how does it work?

Dingo’s Natural Pet Food has partnered with the Hyland Hills Jaguars to turn everyday pet purchases into automatic fundraising for the organization. Families sign up using the registration link in the introductory email from Hyland Hills Hockey. Once registered, every qualifying purchase at Dingo’s earns money back for the Jaguars — automatically, with no extra steps at checkout. No selling, no events, no ongoing effort required.

Does my family need to do anything special each time we shop?

No. Registration is a one-time step. After that, your account is tagged to the Jaguars in Dingo’s system and every qualifying purchase is tracked automatically. No coupon, no code, and no need to mention Hyland Hills Hockey at checkout.

What purchases count, and how much does the organization earn?

Qualifying purchases earn back up to 10% depending on the type: grooming services and self-wash station
visits earn 10% back to the Jaguars; pet food, treats, toys, and everyday supplies earn 5% back. Every dollar a
registered family spends at Dingo’s contributes to the quarterly total.

How do I sign up?

Click the registration link. Fill in your information and you are done. Dingo’s will load your details into their system and tag your account to the Jaguars. No in-store visit required to get started.

Food, Brands, & Switching

Dingo's doesn't carry the brand my dog eats. Do I have to switch foods?

You do not have to switch to participate — grooming, self-wash, treats, toys, and supplies all qualify and are a great way to support the Jaguars regardless of where you source food. That said, if your pet is on a big-box brand, it may be worth a quick conversation with the Dingo’s team. Many families find that a higher-quality, all-natural food makes a real difference in their pet’s health, energy, and coat — and the cost difference is often smaller than people expect once you factor in portion size and long-term vet savings.

What brands does Dingo's carry — and what if mine isn't on the shelf?

Dingo’s specializes in natural, premium, and specialty pet food brands. If your pet’s exact food or SKU isn’t on the shelf but falls within the all-natural category, Dingo’s can special order it, set you up on a monthly subscription, and deliver it directly to your door. Dingo’s also delivers to Hyland Hills Family Markets for added convenience. Reach out to the team and they will find a solution that works for your pet and your schedule.

Is there any extra cost to our family?

Absolutely not. Families pay the exact same price they always would. The donation back to the Jaguars comes entirely from Dingo’s — no surcharge, no markup, no added fee. You spend nothing extra. It is simply Dingo’s way of giving back to the community they call home.

Do we need to increase how much we spend at Dingo's?

No. The program is built around spending your family is already doing on pet care. Register once and your existing purchases start earning for the Jaguars. Any new services you try — grooming, self-wash, or a food subscription — just grow the total.

Tracking

How are purchases tracked?

When a family registers through the Hyland Hills Jaguars link, their information is loaded into Dingo’s system and their account is tagged to the organization. Every qualifying purchase made by that account is automatically recorded toward the organization’s total. No action is needed at checkout for registered families.

How does the organization know how much has been earned?

Dingo’s provides a full transparency report to the Jaguars each quarter, including the number of registered accounts, total qualifying purchases for the period, and the exact donation amount. The board reviews this report and shares highlights with families.

Grooming Services

I selected grooming as a service I'm interested in — what happens next?

Once you are registered, the Dingo’s team will reach out by text to welcome you and help schedule your first appointment. It is a quick, friendly message — nothing to fill out, no phone calls needed. Just reply and the team will take it from there.

How do I send my pet's vaccination records?

Easy — just reply to the welcome text with a photo of the records. Your vet can also email or fax them directly to Dingo’s. The team will confirm once they are received and saved to your pet’s profile. No paperwork, no forms, no in-person drop-off required.

Why does Dingo's need my pet's vaccination records?

Proof of current vaccinations is required before any grooming appointment — standard practice at professional grooming facilities, in place to protect every pet in the salon. Dingo’s requires current Rabies, Bordetella, and DHPP records. Once they are on file you will never need to send them again unless they expire.

Do records need to be in before I book, or can I send them after?

You can send them any time after registration, but they must be on file before your pet’s first grooming appointment. The Dingo’s team will remind you if they have not been received as your appointment approaches — no need to stress about the timing.

Who Can Participate

Can families who already shop at Dingo's participate?

Yes — and they should sign up right away. Existing Dingo’s customers register using the link in the introductory email and all purchases going forward are credited to Hyland Hills Hockey. Past purchases cannot be retroactively counted, but everything from registration onward qualifies.

Our family doesn't have a pet. Can we still help?

Absolutely. Share the registration link with friends, neighbors, grandparents, or anyone you know who has a pet. Every person who registers through the Hyland Hills Jaguars link grows the Jaguars’ quarterly earnings — whether or not they have a kid on the team.

Can we share the link with friends and extended family?

Yes, and please do! The link can be forwarded to anyone — grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors, coworkers, or any pet owner who wants to support the Jaguars. There is no limit on how many accounts can be linked to the organization. The more people who register, the larger the quarterly check. Anyone who missed the link can simply mention Hyland Hills Jaguars at checkout and the Dingo’s team will get them connected.

Payouts

When does Hyland Hills Jaguars Hockey receive the money?

Payouts are made quarterly — four times per year. At the end of each quarter, Dingo’s calculates the earned donation across all registered accounts and issues payment to the Jaguars along with the full transparency report.

Is there a minimum required before a payout is made?

No minimum. Whatever was earned in the quarter is paid in full. The Jaguars receive 100% of what was earned regardless of the total amount.

How will families know how much the program has raised?

Hyland Hills Jaguars Hockey will share fundraising updates after each quarterly payout and at the end of the season. Families will see exactly how their everyday shopping contributed to the Jaguars. Milestone announcements are planned on the Jaguars’ social media page as the program grows.
